We are excited to welcome our new 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Judith Lawrence, to our Eagle family.
Mrs. Lawrence says, "Hi! My name is Judith Lawrence, and I am so excited to join Seagraves Elementary as the new 5th grade math teacher!
I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wyoming and later completed my Master of Science degree in School Counseling. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching students in Wyoming, New Mexico, and Texas. Each experience has strengthened my passion for helping students learn, grow, and develop confidence in themselves.
My husband and I are blessed with two wonderful sons, and we are excited to be part of the Seagraves community. From the moment I arrived, I have felt welcomed with open arms by the staff and community, and I am truly grateful for such a warm reception.
I believe every child can be successful in math when they feel encouraged, supported, and challenged to think deeply. I strive to create a classroom where students feel safe to ask questions, persevere through challenges, and celebrate their successes. I look forward to building meaningful relationships with my students and their families, sharing my love of mathematics, and making this a wonderful year of learning together. I am honored to be a Seagraves Eagle, and I can't wait to begin this new journey!"

We are excited to officially welcome Samantha Francis to our Elementary School family. Last year Ms. Francis was a teacher candidate under Mrs. Williams. Ms. Francis did such an amazing job that we asked her back to teach 1st grade with Mrs. Williams this year.

I was blessed to be a Texas Tech teacher resident in Mrs.Williams class last year and I am so excited to continue my journey at Seagraves. Ms. Atchison says, "I am excited to serve as the new Assistant Principal and to become part of this wonderful community. I earned my bachelor's and masters degree through Grand Canyon University and I completed my Principal Certification through Lubbock Christian University.
Throughout my 11 years in education, I have been and continue to be passionate about meeting the needs of all students, staff, and members of the community.
Outside of school, I am proud to be a mom, sister, and soon to be wife. I look forward to partnering with our students, families, and staff to create a positive and successful school year for everyone."
