SEAGRAVES HIGH SCHOOL -2024-2025 Red Ribbon Week -November 5th - 8th, 2024
Red Ribbon Week is dedicated to federal drug enforcement agent Enrique (Kiki) Camarena, who was killed by drug traffickers in Mexico in 1985. In response to his death, angered parents across the country began wearing red ribbons to symbolize their commitment toward the creation of a drug-free America. In 1988, Congress officially proclaimed the first National Red Ribbon Week. The red ribbon has now become a symbol for the drug-free movement. Over 100,000 schools and organizations nationwide celebrate Red Ribbon Week, making it the most successful drug prevention event ever held. Our school counselors will continue to use age appropriate lessons/messages to teach our students that staying healthy and drug-free is a positive choice they can make themselves.

The elementary will host their annual holiday meal on Wednesday, November 20th. Tickets will be $8.00 per plate for adults and will be on sale through November 8th in the elementary office. We hope you will join us! 🦃🥧
