Middle School Teacher of the Month: September/October
Mr. DeForest has been in education for 3 years with this being his first year with Seagraves ISD.
One student said, "He tries very hard to help everyone, especially me, to get better with our instruments. He is such a great teacher."
Mr. Deforest says that he loves that he has the ability to teach to the next generation of musicians.
We appreciate all that you do in going above and beyond to serve our students, Mr.DeForest. We are blessed to have you here at Seagraves Middle School.
Seagraves FFA will be doing the Pre-Game meal this Friday, November 4th for Senior Night in the High School Cafeteria from 4pm till Kickoff.
Meal includes:
Loaded Brisket Baked Potato
Dessert
Drink
Meal Tickets can be purchased at the High School Front Office for $10.
All Basketball Scrimmages will be played at the High School this morning starting at 10 am.

Seagraves ISD is so thankful that all adults and students involved in today’s accident have been treated and released. We are thankful for all of the prayers and support. A special thank you to the first responders and volunteers on the scene. Another special thank you to the parents and school staff who showed up on the scene to take care of our kiddos. God truly blessed us today!
Seagraves ISD had our band students involved in an accident on our way to the UIL marching contest today. Thanks to God everyone on our bus survived. We have numerous injuries and ask for prayers for our staff, parents, and these precious students and their families. Prayers for the driver of the other vehicle who is more critical.
The Seagraves "Pride of the Plains" Band will be performing at the Region UIL Marching Contest this Saturday, October 15, at 2:20 PM. The contest will be held at Lowery Field in Lubbock.
