In honor of principal's month, we would like to say thank you to our high school principal, Mrs. Mewborn. Mrs. Mewborn was born in Wichita Falls and lived there through college and the first 12 years of her teaching career. While in Wichita Falls ISD, she worked as a teacher, a school counselor, an Assistant Principal, and an Associate Principal. She then served London ISD for 7 years. as the middle and high school principal and counselor for the first year. For the following 5 years, she served as the high school principal. During her last year in London ISD I served as the Director of Human Resources and Student Services. Mrs. Mewborn then relocated to Lubbock where she served as an Assistant Principal at Monterey High School. As an educator, Mrs. Mewborn believes that it is her charge to ensure that all students are supported in the pursuit of their dreams, and to help them to grow as people and good citizens. Thank you, Mrs. Mewborn!


JUNIOR PARENTS: Jostens will be here on Monday, October 28th @ 1:32 pm in the high school cafeteria if you wish to order your child's class ring. Students received a ring packet yesterday during their meeting with Jostens.

Ms. Soltero is a proud first-generation college graduate and holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Angelo State University. With 14 years of experience in education, Ms. Soltero has spent the last two years serving as Assistant Principal at Cavazos Middle School. Ms. Soltero is passionate about fostering growth and showcasing the possibilities education can offer, making a lasting impact on the lives of all students. She encourages students to reach their full potential and grow to be leaders who make a positive impact on their community. Thank you for all you do, Ms. Soltero!
