Good Afternoon Eagle Fans & Community,
We want to share an important message regarding fan behavior at all athletic events. As of the 2025-2026 school year, Texas Law: SB 2929 is in effect. This law allows game officials to immediately remove spectators for disruptive or inappropriate behavior without a warning.
Please be aware that if a spectator is asked to leave, the decision is final under Texas law. Schools are also allowed only three such incidents before they risk losing home officials for future games.

Dear Seagraves ISD Students, Parents, and Community:
Last week I submitted my formal letter of resignation to the Board of Trustees as I have accepted the position of Superintendent for Lamesa ISD.
It has been an extraordinary privilege and honor to serve the students, teachers, and the entire district community. I want to express my deepest gratitude to each of you for providing me with the opportunity to lead this remarkable school system.
I am immensely proud of the progress we have made together during my tenure. Our collective commitment has led to profound accomplishments that will benefit the community for years to come. Specifically, I reflect with pride on:
Improving academic performance metrics including: implementing a fully paid full-day PreK3 program, the expansion of numerous Industry Based Certifications and college and career pathways, offering dual credit courses for all students, and graduating 27% of students with Associate’s degrees-providing students with diverse opportunities to pursue post-secondary success;
Securing several million dollars in competitive grants, which have directly funded essential programs and resources for our students and staff;
Adopting the first amended surplus budget in decades, while increasing the Fund Balance two years in a row after five years of steady declines;
The successful passing of a pivotal bond referendum, enabling critical upgrades to our facilities and the modernization of our transportation fleet;
Growing our district and Increasing enrollment by 5%; and so much more
These achievements are a testament to the dedication of our Leadership Team and the entire staff, along with the collaborative effort of this board and community.
This was a difficult decision, but I believe it is the right time for me to pursue a new challenge that will propel my career and provide me the opportunity to serve even more students across West Texas.
I am fully committed to ensuring a smooth and effective leadership transition. I will work closely with the board to hand over responsibilities and assist in any way possible to maintain the district’s forward momentum.
Thank you once again for your partnership and support throughout my time here. I will always cherish the memories and wish Seagraves ISD all the best in its continued mission to educate and inspire every student.

The varsity boys basketball team decided that they wanted to give back this holiday season. They drew names of elementary students and all purchased gifts for the students with their own money. Thank you, Eagles, for making a difference in the lives of our elementary students. 🦅🎄🎅
Congratulations to Abiam A. and Jaevien M. in fourth grade, and Valeria M. in fifth grade. Their drawings were picked to be in theLlano Estacado Underground Water District's 2026 calendar. They also won $25. Congratulations Eagles!
